Non living:
If you have water inside a semi-permeable plastic bag
surrounded by a sugar solution, the water would move into the sugar solution
and the bag would empty due to osmosis. Alternately if the bag was filled with
sugary solution and surrounded with water the bag would get fuller and fuller.
